if you take away the limited amount of touchpad space, it's pretty much a 2-in-1 controller (minus keyboard, but I bet there are quite a few keyboard attachments that you can place in the EXT.
But another plus is the touchpad, which can replicate the mouse extremely well.
The secondary issue with the DS4 is the button placement, like Shady Guy Jose mentioned. Exactly, from what I heard, the gyro and motion is rather great.
